A unique retreat amongst century old
oaks in the heart of Paso Wine Country
Welcome
Kindred Oak Farm is located in the heart of Paso Robles wine country. We are a working farm that is home to a highly lauded boutique Bed and Breakfast Farm Stay. While operating Thursday nights – Saturday nights, we offer couples and families a unique experience of nature and farming all within an unprecedented park-like setting. As owners and a husband-and-wife team, Lisa and Rob have created a niche lodging oasis in Paso Robles that continues to evolve. Our philosophy is to offer our guests respite while reconnecting their feet to mother nature surrounded in the beauty that is Kindred Oak Farm.
Bed & Breakfast
We offer a gourmet multi-course breakfast for two each morning of your stay. We source our fruits and veggies direct from our own seasonal organic produce garden. We also purchase from other local farms, farmer markets, local food artisans as much as possible. Farm to table unique cuisine that can be catered to any allergy or eating preference style.
All of our rooms have a king-sized bed and a gas fireplace in our Adelaida, Willow Creek and Templeton Gap rooms. Our rooms also feature a large separate shower, private patio and soaking tubs – with the exception of The Oaks. Fresh locally roasted pour-over coffee is waiting to be made by you in your room each morning as well as a selection of tea. Upscale local “clean” elevated alchemy of skin and hair products are provided with every room. The guest rooms were designed to have a vintage California Ranch house yet modern feel that evokes comfort and peaceful relaxation.
The B&B Details
It’s all about the details and we at Kindred Oak Farm know that. We take great care in making sure every detail of your stay reflects our commitment to that.
Nestled just off Hwy 46 West, and tucked away amongst century-old oak trees on a north-facing incline within a 20-acre park-like setting is our curated five-star, Bed and Breakfast Farm-Stay. We operate an organic working produce and flower farm. The vineyard on the property is a testament to our commitment to regenerative practice and care.
Situated in the heart of Paso Robles wine country, Kindred Oak Farm enjoys being part of Paso’s trending destination location as a unique blend of cowboy chic charm. Despite our serene location, we’re only minutes away from downtown Paso Robles and many of it’s many shops, tasting rooms and restaurants. What sets us apart is our relentless pursuit of perfection and the finer details.
We are conveniently close to the acclaimed wineries that have cemented Paso Robles as a must-visit destination for wine enthusiasts who also appreciate the highest standards of hospitality.
The Grounds
Here at the Kindred Oak Farm we enjoy 20 acres of various topography. We have steep inclines and yet flat pastures and growing areas. Most of our farm is open for guests to walk, explore, forage, photograph. Because of our unique woodland park setting, our farm and the trees, your stay here at Kindred Oak Farm will be an unparalleled experiential visit like no other in the Paso Robles can offer.
Your sign to give your pet an extra cuddle today.
Little Girl aka LG has a way of finding the all quiet corners of the farm and any open door or lap - for that matter. She’s independent, doesn`t like other cats, thinks she`s human, sometimes has some sass, and always wants to be in the middle of a social gathering. She can be a bit bougie, as she loves her morning cream cup (Organic Trader Joe`s 1/2 and 1/2 is her favorite). She is our farm kitty and we love her soooooooooo.

This is one of the best times of year to get your summer garden in the ground. Our summer garden has been started months ago as a thoughtful plan. What did we like last year, what did we not, what grew well, what needed to change. We plotted and planned, Chelsey from @sustenancegardens started the starters and now prepping to put them in our beds. We are very excited to put our new critter cages to use for our Summer season. They did fantastic for the Winter season!
Here’s what we’re planting right now at the farm:
• Tomatoes
• Squash
• Peppers
• Cucumbers
• Basil & summer herbs
• Peas
There’s something special about planting now and knowing these will become part of our menu shared around the table in a few months and filling the larder in fall.

There’s something simple and satisfying about turning what you might throw away into something alive.
Pineapple rinds, a little sugar, time… and suddenly you have something entirely new.
This is where fermentation begins.
We’ll be exploring more of this at our first "Living Larder" retreat this next weekend, learning how to work with ingredients in a way that feels both practical and deeply connected. We are sold out for this weekend, but we are putting together more dates soon.

Our first retreat at the farm is here.
The Living Larder is an intimate weekend dedicated to the craft of preservation through fermentation, learning how simple ingredients, time, and patience transform food in beautiful healthful ways.
Together we’ll explore vegetable fermentation, cultured dairy, and probiotic beverages while enjoying slow meals, time in the gardens, and the quiet rhythm of the farm.
Whether you`re brand new to fermentation or already love cooking at home, this weekend is designed to deepen your confidence and connection to real food.
